Harvey is now Sellbird.

Harvey, the open-source AI sales agent, has a new name. It still finds businesses worth selling to, finds who decides, writes personal cold email, sends it and handles the replies, on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have.

What stayed the same. Everything that matters.

The same project.

Same code, history, stars, forks and issues. Old GitHub links to Harvey redirect to Sellbird.

Your setup carries over.

Config, data and your dashboard sign-in move to the new names on first run. Nothing is overwritten.

The old command still works.

harvey keeps running for now and points you to sellbird, so an update never breaks a script.

Already running Harvey? Update in place.

Pull the new code and reinstall once to get the sellbird command. Your configuration, data and dashboard sign-in come with you, and the dashboard says so once.

$ git pull
$ pip install -e .
$ sellbird dashboard

Why the new name. A name of its own.

The name Harvey belongs to another AI company, so this open-source project needed a name of its own. Nothing about how it works has changed, and the project, its history and its community carry straight over.

What changed. The name, the license and the docs.

From version 0.4.0 the open-source project is called Sellbird and is licensed under the GNU AGPL v3.0. Releases up to 0.3.x stay MIT. The README and docs were rewritten, and a hosted version now runs at sellbird.ai for teams who would rather not run it themselves.

Rather not run it yourself?

Hosted Sellbird keeps sending while your computer is off, with domains, inboxes and warmup set up for you.
